Luminar/Lightroom workflow?

I've been using Neo for several years and recently subscribed to Lightroom Classic. LRC provides the file management component that Neo lacks. It's also very easy to go from Lightroom to the Neo plugin. The problem is that the plugin version does not allow you to use any of the "Gen" features in Neo. For example, if I want to use GenErase, I need to open the stand alone version. Now I'm wondering if perhaps I should start with stand alone Neo for all my editing, THEN open Lightroom to catalog and organize my photos. I'd like to hear from other Luminar/Lightroom users. What's your workflow?
