How to fix the silver tone from a wire fence.

I have images taken at a zoo where some of the animals are behind wire fencing. The animal is still visible but have a silver streak where the wire fence is. I've tried things like the erase tool, power line removal, and playing with various color tools but I just can't get the silver tone out of the image. I'm interested in suggestion on how to best fix or address this. Here's and example of an image with the silver wire fence over the top of the Black Bear.
