A long time camera user though only a photographer in the past 20 years or so. Prioor to that a camera was just a device to capture a memory.
About 2 years ago (after a bit of a gap) I again picked up a camera with a view to making it more of a hobby. Got rid of all my Nikon gear and went the Fuji route. Ironically I'm now starting to use Nikon lenses on the Fuji with a smart adapter (with very good results) due to the greater availability of used Nikon glass.
Was a user of photoshop for a good few years back in the early days but hate their new subscription model. I won't subscribe to any software - I will always buy outright in preference.
Currently using Affinity and Luminar. Luminar most of the time but there are thinks it can't do so Afffinity fills that hole. Do a lot of editing on my phone using SnapSeed (which has the best model there is - free).
Do a fair bit with film as well as digital, especially with vintage cameras and have a small collection from the 50s and 60s. No Leicas here though - they're just too expensive and in my view over priced. The film images are scanned but rarely touched beyond a small tweak to exposure and contrast.
Thats me.
